In our jewellery workshop in Basel, you’ll design your own unique silver ring using Art Clay Silver (silver clay) – with a rounded profile and plenty of room for creativity.

Would you love to get creative and design your own silver ring? Then this workshop is just right for you! Whether you have experience making jewelry or are working with silver clay for the first time – everyone is welcome. Thanks to this versatile material, you can easily create beautiful rings from real silver – even with no artistic experience at all.

In this 4-hour compact workshop, you’ll craft a custom ring step by step – not a classic band ring, but a creative ring shape that leaves plenty of space for your own ideas.

The rounded base profile gives you the freedom to shape your ring just the way you like – for example, with a wave design, an open form, or delicately sculpted details. While the selection of pre-made textures is a bit more limited than in other workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to design and incorporate your own personal pattern – expressive and one of a kind.

Since this is a compact workshop (around 4 hours), we typically work only with small zirconia stones (2–4 mm). If you’d like to incorporate larger zirconia or natural stones, we recommend one of our in-depth ring workshops, which offer more time and design freedom.

At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home a handcrafted piece of jewelry – a unique silver ring you’ll be proud to wear!

Materials

Step by step, our instructors will help you design and craft your ring. They will be by your side throughout the workshop, ready to answer questions and provide assistance when necessary. You will also have access to our wide selection of tools, molds, books, and more.

Silver clay and additional materials (e.g., zirconia, jump rings) are not included in the workshop price.
Material costs start at CHF 35, depending on the size of your ring and the use of zirconia or natural stones. Payment is made at the end of the workshop in cash, via TWINT, or by card.

Drinks & Snacks

We always have coffee and tea available in our kitchen, and cold drinks are stocked in our fridge. If you’d like to show appreciation, a small tip in our Apéro jar is always welcome.
