Terms and Conditions

1) Scope

Mein Meisterwerk is part of Bosch Metal Clay, based in Flüh, Solothurn. Bosch Metal Clay is not subject to VAT.

These terms and conditions apply to team events/workshops booked via meinmeisterwerk.ch as well as other orders placed via the online shop of Mein Meisterwerk (hereafter both referred to as ‘order’). Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time. The version of the terms and conditions in force at the time of the order shall apply in each case. It cannot be unilaterally changed for this specific order.

2) Product

Mein Meisterwerk offers team events as well as workshops, and sells handmade silver jewelry (hereafter both referred to as ‘product’). With our team events/workshops, we target both enterprises and private customers. With our jewelry, we only target private customers. Prices and product ranges are subject to change at any time. Mein Meisterwerk always tries to be as accurate as possible. All images of jewelry as shown on the website are made at Mein Meisterwerks’ atelier. Nevertheless, as both the workshops and the production of handmade jewelry are creative processes, the images shown on the website as well as all information on the products are for illustration purposes and are non-binding.

3) Workshops

Team Events

  • Prices:

The prices for team events are listed on the website in Swiss Francs. Depending on the offer, fixed package prices, flat rates, or per-person and material-based pricing may apply.

The prices listed on the website are for informational purposes only. Although maintained with care, no rights may be derived from the information provided on the website. The applicable price is the one confirmed at the time of booking or stated in the written quotation provided by Mein Meisterwerk.

For certain offers – such as children’s birthday parties – a fixed total price applies. Other team events are based on a base rate for a defined number of participants, with additional charges for each extra participant and/or for materials.

Unless otherwise stated, material costs are charged separately. The current prices and included services are listed on the website or in the individual offer.

For team events, the total price, minimum booking amount, or agreed base package rate confirmed at the time of booking shall apply. 

If fewer participants attend than originally booked, the agreed minimum price or booked base package rate shall still apply. Additional participants may be added upon prior request and subject to availability.

For larger groups, special requests, or customised requirements, Mein Meisterwerk may provide an individual quotation. In such cases, the written quotation provided by Mein Meisterwerk shall be decisive for the final price.

Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to change prices at any time. The applicable price or quotation is the one valid at the time of booking.

  • Contract:

Upon agreeing in writing (e.g., email) with the proposal, a contract is implied between Mein Meisterwerk/Bosch Metal Clay and the client.

  • Payment conditions:

Upon having received the agreement with the proposal, Mein Meisterwerk will send the client an invoice for the entire agreed amount. A down payment of CHF 500,- is to be paid immediately (within 2 days) in order to finalize the reservation. The remainder of the amount should be paid at least two weeks prior to the team event.

As soon as the down payment is received, Mein Meisterwerk will finalize the reservation. If no down payment is received within two weeks after Mein Meisterwerk sent an invoice, Mein Meisterwerk cannot guarantee that clients’ preferred date for the team event will remain available.

  • Cancellation:

In case of cancellation by the client, the down payment will not be refunded. In case of cancellation within two weeks before the team event, the whole bill must be paid, except for the amount for the silver clay. Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to make exceptions.

  • Insurance and liability

For team events, workshops and other events, Mein Meisterwerk excludes any liability for damages incurred. The customer is responsible for taking out appropriate insurance. The use of the studio and the associated tools and equipment is at the customer’s own risk. This also applies to theft, damage, and loss of items.

Workshops 

  • Prices:

Our workshops are generally open events for which each participant can register individually. Prices are listed on the website in Swiss Francs. Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price displayed online at the time of booking shall apply.

Private workshops are not open events, but closed group bookings for 2–8 participants. The booking is made jointly as a group by one booking person. The private workshop is organised exclusively for the booked group.

For private workshops, the agreed total price or minimum booking amount applies. The booking person is responsible for organising and communicating within the group as well as for ensuring full payment of the booking.

If fewer participants attend than originally booked, the agreed minimum price remains applicable. Additional participants may be added upon request and subject to availability.

  • Order:

The presentation of the products on meinmeisterwerk.ch is not a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to the client to order the product in the online shop or via completion of a booking form. After submitting the order, the customer will receive a confirmation of receipt documenting that the order has been received by Mein Meisterwerk. Mein Meisterwerk is free to reject orders in whole or in part without giving reasons. In this case, the customer will be informed, and any payments already made will be refunded. Further claims are excluded.

  • Contract:

A contract is concluded by placing an order with Mein Meisterwerk/meinmeisterwerk.ch.

  • Payment conditions:

Immediately after ordering, the total amount mentioned on the invoice is payable. Reservation for a workshop will be finalized upon receipt of payment. If no payment is received within two weeks after Mein Meisterwerk sent an invoice, Mein Meisterwerk cannot guarantee that customers’ preferred date for the workshop will remain available. 

  • Cancellations:

Cancellations by the Customer:

A one-time rescheduling of the workshop by the customer is possible up to 30 days before the workshop date. In the event of a cancellation made no later than 30 days before the workshop date, the amount already paid will be refunded minus an administration fee. No refunds will generally be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the workshop date. However, Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to make exceptions in individual cases as a gesture of goodwill.

Cancellation by Mein Meisterwerk:

In case Mein Meisterwerk must cancel a workshop (e.g., due to too few registrations), Mein Meisterwerk will offer the customer a seat in a session of the same workshop on another date or a voucher to attend a future session. Alternatively, Mein Meisterwerk will refund the payment.

  • Insurance and liability

For team events, workshops and other events, Mein Meisterwerk excludes any liability for damages incurred. The customer is responsible for taking out appropriate insurance. The use of the studio and the associated tools and equipment is at the customer’s own risk. This also applies to theft, damage, and loss of items.

4) Online shop

  • Prices:

The prices for the on-line shop are shown in Swiss Francs. Mein Meisterwerk has the right to change prices at any time. The price as shown on-line at the time of the order is decisive. In case you order from outside of Switzerland, the price does not include any customs fee or local taxes. Any customs fee or local taxes not included in the price of the order is for the customer’s account.

  • Order:

The presentation of the products on meinmeisterwerk.ch is not a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to the client to order the product in the online shop. Mein Meisterwerk reserves the right to limit the delivery quantities for certain products and not to carry out the delivery in case the order exceptionally big. After submitting the order, the customer will receive a confirmation of receipt documenting that the order has been received by Mein Meisterwerk. Mein Meisterwerk is free to reject orders in whole or in part without giving reasons. In this case, the customer will be informed, and any payments already made will be refunded. Further claims are excluded. Temporarily unavailable products cannot be reserved.

  • Contract:

A contract is concluded by placing an order with Mein Meisterwerk/meinmeisterwerk.ch.

  • Payment conditions:

Immediately after ordering, the total amount mentioned on the invoice is payable.

  • Shipping:

Mein Meisterwerk ships to addresses in Switzerland and the EU. The shipping method and shipping fee depend on the country and product. Shipments are usually delivered in full. Deliveries can also be collected from Mein Meisterwerks’ Atelier in Basel Stadt after consultation, in which case the shipping costs are waived. As the products are handmade and, on many occasions, created for a specific client upon receipt of the order, it may take up to three weeks to ship the order. Mein Meisterwerk will always try to fulfil the order as soon as possible.

  • Customs duties and taxes

Any customs duties and local taxes incurred shall be paid by the customer.

  • Warranty

There is no general right to return defect-free and correctly delivered products.

5) Payment options

Mein Meisterwerk offers the following payment options: Visa & Mastercard, Paypal, Twint, bank transfer (prepayment) or cash upon collection at the Atelier.

6) Applicable court and place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is Dornach, Kanton Solothurn (Switzerland).
