Planning a Hen Night in Basel? Looking for a creative idea that the bride will remember for years to come? A jewellery workshop is the perfect activity for your Hen Do: each guest designs a unique bead for the bride-to-be. Together, you’ll create a stunning and personal gift – a Pandora-style bracelet full of love and memories.

The workshop was originally developed for silver beads made with silver clay. As the price of silver clay has increased significantly in recent years, we now also offer a more affordable option with bronze. This way, you can choose whether you would like to create elegant silver beads or beautiful bronze beads.

By the end of the workshop, the bride will be holding a one-of-a-kind keepsake made by her closest friends. You can choose whether each guest creates one or two beads. If you decide to make two beads, you can think about it together: should the bride receive both beads for her memory bracelet, or would each of you like to keep one bead as a keepsake of this special day?

It’s a creative afternoon full of laughter, good vibes and unforgettable moments – the perfect way to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime day.

Time

• 1 silver bead: approx. 3 hrs
• 2 silver beads: approx. 3.5–4 hrs
• 2 bronze beads: approx. 2.5–3 hrs

Bronze needs to be fired in several steps, and the firing process takes much longer than with silver. For this reason, bronze beads cannot be taken home directly at the end of the workshop. Silver beads, however, are finished by the end of the workshop, so the bride can take her bracelet home straight away.

Your instructor will fire and polish the bronze beads after the workshop. The finished bracelet can usually be picked up from our atelier the following week.

Prices from 6 people, including metal clay and 3 zirconia stones (2–3 mm) per person:

• 1 silver bead: CHF 64 per person
• 2 silver beads: CHF 84 per person
• 2 bronze beads: CHF 59 per person

In all options, there is a small additional charge for the bride’s bracelet, onto which the beads can be threaded at the end of the workshop – optionally with a few coloured beads.

Additional conditions:

• Saturday afternoon: minimum 9 people or surcharge
• Sunday afternoon: minimum 8 people or surcharge
• From 11 people: 5% group discount
