What is silver clay and how does it work?<\/h3>\n

Silver clay (also known as silver metal clay or Art Clay Silver) is a moldable material made from fine silver particles, water, and an organic binder. When fired, the water evaporates, the binder burns off, and you’re left with a piece of 99.9% pure fine silver. Silver clay is easy to work with \u2013 similar to regular clay or playdough \u2013 making it perfect for creative beginners. In our workshops, we use Art Clay Silver or similar brands such as FYI Clay or Prometheus Clay.<\/p>\n

Do I need any previous experience to join a jewellery workshop or team event?<\/h3>\n

No. Our silver clay workshops are specifically designed for beginners. No prior knowledge or experience is needed. Our certified instructor will guide you step by step and support you throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n

Do I need to bring anything with me?<\/h3>\n

No. We provide everything you need \u2013 including all tools, texture mats, molds, rollers, and work surfaces. If you\u2019d like to use a personal pattern or texture, feel free to bring it along.<\/p>\n

What should I wear?<\/h3>\n

Casual, comfortable clothing is perfect. Working with silver clay is cleaner than you might expect. However, since we use materials like water, olive oil, sanding paper and small tools, we recommend not wearing your finest outfit.<\/p>\n

What is included in the workshop price?<\/h3>\n

All workshops include:<\/p>\n

  • Step-by-step guidance from a certified instructor<\/li>\n
  • Use of all tools, equipment, molds, and books<\/li>\n
  • Firing service for your finished piece (except in open atelier sessions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Materials such as silver clay, cubic zirconia, and findings are generally not included in the workshop price \u2013 except for our team events, where materials (e.g. 7 or 10 grams of silver clay) are usually included. In open atelier sessions and open workshops, materials are billed separately.<\/p>\n

    Which materials can I buy at the atelier?<\/h3>\n

    We offer a wide range of materials, including:<\/p>\n

    • Silver clay in various sizes<\/li>\n
    • Cubic zirconia and other gemstones<\/li>\n
    • Jump rings, eyelets, ear hooks\/studs, necklaces<\/li>\n
    • Handcrafted jewelry from our own atelier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      How much does the material for my jewellery cost?<\/h3>\n

      The material costs depend on the size and type of jewellery piece you create.<\/p>\n

      As the silver price is currently subject to strong fluctuations, the price of silver clay also changes regularly. It is linked to the international silver market, which means the exact material cost cannot be fixed far in advance.<\/p>\n

      As a general guideline (Q1 2026):<\/p>\n

        A small silver pendant (approx. 2.5 grams of clay), including a small zirconia and a jumpring or eyelet if desired, currently starts at around CHF 16<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        A medium-sized pendant or ring typically falls between CHF 30 and CHF 50<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Larger pendants or rings require more material and will be priced accordingly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Please keep in mind that you are working with real silver \u2014 a precious metal with lasting value, not a plated or imitation material.<\/p>\n

        During the workshop, you only pay for the silver clay you actually use. Fresh, unused clay can be returned and will not be charged.<\/p>\n

        Once the clay has been shaped or has started to dry, it becomes part of your jewellery piece and will be charged accordingly.<\/p>\n

        It is important to me that everything remains fair and transparent \u2013 so you can fully relax and enjoy your creative experience. \u2728<\/p>\n

        Which payment methods do you accept?<\/h3>\n

          When is my booking confirmed?<\/h3>\n

          • Workshops: Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.<\/li>\n
          • Team events: Your booking is confirmed after we receive your deposit (within 14 days). If we do not receive the payment on time, we cannot guarantee your preferred date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Can I cancel a workshop?<\/h3>\n
              \n
            • Workshops: Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds.<\/li>\n
            • Team events: If cancelled less than 2 weeks before the scheduled date, the full fee (minus material costs) will be charged. Deposits are non-refundable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              What happens if a workshop is cancelled?<\/h3>\n

              If we need to cancel a workshop due to low participation, you\u2019ll be notified at least 7 days in advance. You can then choose between:<\/p>\n

              • Rescheduling to another available date<\/li>\n
              • Receiving a voucher for future participation<\/li>\n
              • Getting a full refund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
